Dilution & injector calculator

Every dilution is the same equation: C₁V₁ = C₂V₂. Pick the value you don't know, enter the other three in whatever units you use (just keep them consistent), and read the answer.

Dilute a solution

C₁V₁ = C₂V₂

Stock strength for a 1:R ratio

Required stock concentration
80,800ppm / EC

Convention difference at this ratio
800ppm / EC
Mixing to the wrong convention misses by exactly one working-strength unit.

Check which convention your injector's manual uses before mixing stock: “1:100” means different math on different brands (C×101 vs C×100). At high concentration factors, also watch salt solubility limits in the stock tank.

How do you calculate nutrient dilution for a hydroponic injector?

Use C₁V₁ = C₂V₂: multiply your stock concentration by its volume, then divide by the target concentration to find how much water to add. For injectors, size your stock concentrate at the injector's ratio (e.g. 1:100) times your target feed strength. Enter any three known values above to solve for the fourth.
